SIMON ZUTSHI Simon Zutshi is a financially independent, full time property investor, with 13 years experience of investing in residential property in the UK and overseas. Simon started investing in 1995, when as a first time buyer, and a recent graduate in debt, Simon found a strategy to purchase his first property (his home) using none of his own money. By renting out the spare rooms he was able to cover the mortgage payments and effectively live for free! Caught by the property bug, Simon started to buy more property and by the age of 32 he was financially independent due to the passive income generated from his multi million pound property portfolio. Simon now spends most of his time helping and educating other investors by sharing his “hands on experience” gained over the last 12 years as a successful investor. Simon Zutshi is an expert at creating wealth through property and is also well known for his expertise as a magician and as a member of the Magic Circle. JIM HALIBURTON Jim began buying property in 1992 and letting them to students, organising or doing the work on the property himself. The students all came from the College where he worked as a lecturer. In July 2003 he left his job as University Lecturer and decided to invest in property full time. At that point he set himself a target to purchase a further 50 properties to his portfolio before the buy-to-let 'boom' finished. In the end it took him 18 months, and though prices have stopped rising as fast, the lenders still seem keen to lend and there seems no end to the interest in buy-to-let. Jim now owns over 75 HMO’s with over 500 tenants. On top of this he has about 20 houses and flats which are let as single-lets. Jim keeps on telling himself to stop buying property and consolidate his position, but anybody in the property business will know how difficult it is to stop buying once you have started. ==========================================================
